SECURE 2.0 Key Provisions 2024

The SECURE Act 2.0 is now the law of the land and it includes tons of provisions relating to retirement plans. In 2024, a number of provisions will become effective. Whether or not plan recordkeepers can update their systems quick enough to make these features possible is a story for another day. The provisions in 2024 have the ability to help with items such as emergency savings, student loans and terminated participants to name a few.
