With each passing day we read in the news about yet another security breach. Whether it is our pipelines or meat processing plants, every area of our lives can be impacted by digital breaches. When it comes to your retirement plan assets, the idea that those can be compromised is a scary premise.

Many we know such as not using free wifi, updating passwords, etc. When it comes to your retirement account, it is fine to not monitor your account value day to day (probably even preferable), but you still should register your account, update your beneficiaries, and change your password from time to time.
