Are Markets Overpriced?

Probably. Does it matter? Hard to tell. As a financial advisor our job isn't to predict market tops & bottoms (as CNBC or Fox Business News would lead you to believe). Our job is to guide you through the possible outcomes you may face and whether or not you can achieve your goals based off the risk you are taking.
As I always say, everyone is an aggressive investor when things are going up and not so much on the way down. The linked article draws an apt comparison. You probably don't want to go shopping when you have an empty stomach. Your feelings towards different "impulse" selections may change and you might end up with a bunch of things you can't use. It's the same reason to practice caution when markets retreat.
